On October 26, the Kingdee 2024 Global Changemaker Conference, themed “Empowering Enterprises, Achieving Excellence”, was grandly held in Beijing. During the conference, Kingdee officially launched the Cosmic APP, making AI-driven management truly accessible. An on-site AI mobiles application experience was also open to attendees, demonstrating a new round of artificial intelligence transformation in the field of enterprise management to global changemakers.

At the conference, Peng Huagang (President of the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, former Member of the Party Committee and Secretary-General of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), Jia Shaoqian (Chairman of Hisense Group), Tao Jingwen (Director of Huawei and President of Quality, Process and IT), Ma Kehui (Member of the Party Group and Chief Accountant of China General Technology Group), Xu Shaochun (Chairman of the Board and CEO of Kingdee Group), and Zhang Yong (President of Kingdee Group) — along with other well-known figures and enterprise representatives from various sectors — gathered with nearly 2,000 participants to explore how enterprises can accelerate the building of new-quality productivity and achieve high-quality development in the intelligent era.

For Digital and Intelligent Transformation, Chinese Enterprises Dare to Define World-Class Standards

“Digital and intelligent transformation is both a living environment and a competitive strength! In recent years, Kingdee has been practicing “empowering enterprises through digital and intelligent means”, especially in the field of promoting localization replacement for large enterprises, achieving remarkable results. As of the end of October, Kingdee has successfully helped nearly 300 large enterprises — including Yunnan China Tobacco, Norinco Group, and Yixintang — complete localization replacement and upgrading. Taking Huawei as an example: in response to the “chokepoint” issue of foreign software, Kingdee and Huawei jointly built a human resource management system serving 340,000 employees worldwide and covering 34 modules, successfully implementing organizational transformation. Practice has proven that Chinese enterprise management software is fully capable of providing world-class enterprises with high-quality products, strong technical capabilities, and reliable delivery services.

Grand Launch of Cosmic APP: Making AI-Driven Management Accessible

The 2024 Government Work Report proposed launching the “Artificial Intelligence +” initiative, positioning artificial intelligence as a key driver for China’s development of new-quality productivity. “AI is constantly evolving, and every enterprise application will become an intelligent application,” said Zhao Yanxi, Executive Vice President of Kingdee China, who also shared insights at the conference on the transformation from ERP to intelligent EBC (Enterprise Business Capability) in the intelligent era. As a new-generation intelligent EBC, Kingdee Cloud is leading the intelligent transformation of enterprise management.

Meanwhile, Kingdee grandly launched the Cosmic APP at the conference, making AI-driven management truly accessible. According to introductions, this APP is the mobiles version of Kingdee’s independently developed AI management assistant. Built on Kingdee Cloud Cosmic — a new-generation enterprise-level AI platform — it is China’s first AI-native mobiles application in the field of enterprise management. The Cosmic APP provides enterprise users with a new experience of intelligent and convenient management services, aiming to lead Chinese enterprise management software into the true AI-native era and accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of Chinese enterprises.

The development of the Cosmic APP is based on Kingdee’s self-developed large model and AI agent technology architecture. It can understand user intentions through natural language interaction, and offers:

Intelligent Q&A on financial general knowledge (e.g., company registration, interpretation of fiscal and tax preferential policies);
Q&A and intelligent analysis services on enterprise-specific knowledge (e.g., corporate financial systems, business travel policies, legal policies);
Connections to SaaS to cover multiple enterprise-level AI application scenarioses (e.g., financial diagnosis, indicator analysis, employee services).

The launch of the Cosmic APP is the result of Kingdee’s in-depth exploration in enterprise-level AI in recent years, as well as its accumulation of rich scenarioses and massive enterprise customer cases. It can be said that this is another groundbreaking revolution in the field of enterprise-level AI, following the release of the AI Management Assistant at the Kingdee Cloud Cosmic Summit in May this year.

The conference also showcased Kingdee’s industry-leading enterprise-level AI applications launched in the past year — in fields such as finance, human resources, and global R&D collaboration — all based on the Kingdee Cloud Cosmic platform.

Taking its service for Hisense Group as an example: Kingdee and Hisense jointly developed AI applications in the field of human resource management, creating an employee portal and nearly 20 business scenarioses. This achieved an intelligent experience throughout the entire employee journey and the full talent supply chain, increasing the internal recruitment ratio by 120% and improving the efficiency of the cadre assessment process by 70%.

Building a More Open Digital and Intelligent Ecosystem

To build a more open digital and intelligent ecosystem, Kingdee also signed strategic cooperation agreements with 11 enterprises at the conference, including China Electronics Golden Credit Information Service Co., Ltd., China Telecom Cloud, Lianyou Technology, iSoftStone, Genertec Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Data Industry Group, HBIS Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Enterprises Digital Technology Co., Ltd., K-DB Software, Kylin Software, and Sugon. The goal is to create a more open ecosystem, attract partners and a large number of developers to participate in AI R&D, and jointly improve intelligent applications and solutions.

It is reported that Kingdee’s ecosystem already covers more than 5,000 partners, and nearly 200 ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partners have built digital products based on the Cosmic platform — including independent software developers, system integrators, and consulting firms. This rich application ecosystem will provide enterprises with greater room for expansion in their digital and intelligent transformation.

Empowering Enterprises, Achieving Excellence

As more and more enterprises enter the era of AI transformation, traditional ERP — centered on “resource planning” — can no longer meet enterprises’ needs in the current volatile environment. It has evolved into “Enterprise Business Capability (EBC)”, which supports the all-round development of enterprise business. At this conference, Kingdee also released the EBC White Paper (2024) again, emphasizing the evolution of ERP to intelligent EBC (enterprises’ intelligent digital business capabilities). This evolution integrates leading practices of AI-native technology and assemblable digital management, and explores how to help enterprises further build EBC platforms, deepen the accumulation of digital assets and the application of digital value, thereby providing more specific transformation methodologies for enterprises’ digital and intelligent transformation.
